THE OTHER PALIO

In San Donato in Poggio, between Florence and Siena, since hundreds of years, there's another version of the more famous Palio of Siena. The four city wards fight against each other in the Palio dei Ciuchi, the Donkey Race, a straight line and one only turn, because donkeys can't turn while running.
